“We can take Crimea without a fight”, says Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that when the Ukrainian Armed Forces are positioned on the administrative border with Crimea, there will be an opportunity to pressure Russia’s demilitarization politically.

This information is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing an interview on the Ukrainian TV channel “1+1”.

“With fewer casualties. If we are present at the administrative border with Crimea, I believe that there is a political leverage to push for the demilitarization of Russia within the territory of Crimea. I consider this approach more favorable,” Zelensky stated.

Previously, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, asserted that Ukraine will certainly liberate Crimea from Russian invaders. Ground operations will be necessary for the peninsula’s de-occupation.

Furthermore, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, suggested that Ukraine is likely to liberate Crimea through military means. This is due to the fact that only with the de-occupation of the peninsula will there be certain security assurances for Kiev.

Official representatives of Ukraine have repeatedly stated that the conclusion of the conflict with Russia is possible only with the complete de-occupation of territories, including Crimea.

President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine cannot be envisioned without Crimea.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, declared that the Ukrainian Armed Forces should soon enter Crimea. The wait for the liberation of the peninsula is almost over.
